Changing Reconciliation Rules

For versions reconciled to the Standard version, you can change the reconciliation rules on the Variables tab.

This must be done prior to converting interviews to the Standard version.

Modify Reconciliation Rules

1. Go to View|Versions.
2. Select the version whose rules you wish to modify.
3. Click Details button.
4. Select the Variables tab.
5. Double-click on the variable whose reconciliation rule you would like to modify.

6. The Variable dialog box will open

7. Select the Change button to change the variable mapped to.
8. Select a new Conversion type from the drop-down box options: Identical, Name change, Equivalent, Meaning, Recode needed.
9. Select OK.
