Naming for Key Exchange Encrypted Files

In Key exchange mode, each encrypted interview is stored in its own file in the same folder as the control file. The files are named using the following syntax: <survey-name> <date> <time>.QED.

So, if an ACASI interview named “Survey1” was completed on April 10th, 2020 at 10:05am, the Key encrypted interview would be named:

• Survey1 4_10_2020 10_05_00.QED

After decryption, it will be renamed back to:

• Survey1 4_10_2020 10_05_00.QAD
