In order to ensure successful community-based events, NOVA staff develop and nurture relationships with local community leaders throughout the country. Substance abuse counselors, public health researchers, physicians, nurses, clergymen and women, youth leaders, local government health administrators, mental health professionals, and others are routinely encouraged to participate in and help with the facilitation of various events throughout the year.
NOVA staff are well trained and have experience in conducting a wide variety of community-based events, from health fairs, health screening, to patient recruiting and retention for a variety of research efforts.
