Job Description:
Seeking Graphic Designer to join in-house Design Team to support agency-wide print and multimedia design needs for our clients at the National Center for Health Statistics. Capabilities include print and publications design, exhibit design, and illustration.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Graphics Design or Fine Arts
Min. 3-5 years of professional experience
Must be proficient in production art with design in a PC based environment
Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite 5 or higher (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat)
Proficiency in MS Office 2010 (MS Word and PowerPoint).
Adobe Flash, MS Excel, and charting skills a big plus.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize workload.
Excellent communication skills and ability to offer input and feedback to clients and team members.
Desired Skills:
Prior experience in a contracting environment helpful.
Knowledge of 508 compliance desired.
